Calderdale Industrial Museum Testimonial

“We are extremely pleased with the final result now displayed on our website."

General Experience

Some time ago we had come across the concept of using a digital twin as a web-based virtual tour, and we had already begun exploring how we might create one for our own website. When VDC approached us, we realised we had the opportunity to have this done professionally rather than attempting an in-house version.

Initially, our expectations had been limited to simple advertising, but VDC helped expand our thinking. They made us aware of wider applications—from accessibility planning to remote learning—and clearly had the experience to advise us on these possibilities. This broader perspective was an important reason we accepted their proposal.

Recommendation

“We would strongly recommend digital twin technology to other museums and cultural organisations. It enhances visibility, supports visitor planning, and offers enormous potential for delivering engaging educational content.

VDC have been an exceptional team to work with—professional, well-organised, responsive, and always open to feedback. Working with a volunteer-run museum can present challenges, but VDC have shown patience, flexibility and a genuine understanding of our needs.

We are extremely pleased with the final result now displayed on our website, and we are confident it will be a valuable asset to the museum, both as a practical tool and as a means of raising our profile.”
